Beautiful design, and gated manual makes it sublime. But checkout the hard plastics, goofy switchgear, iff-fitting door to the right of the shifter, illogical knobs and buttons and such. If this came from GM it would lampooned as horrible materials and terrible ergonomics. But gated manual and V12 make it all good here...

I usually prefer Lambos to Ferrari's. That probably explains why I don't like the 456 I guess. I like supercars to be brutal with wild styling rather than delicate and classy.

But I can see where you're coming from.

The 456 is not a super car and not at all comparable to any Lambo. The 456 is more of a Grand Touring car. It has back seats after all.

That's fair enough. But my opinion holds, whether or not the "logic" behind it is actually logical. A Ferrari GT car should compare more with the 599 or the F12—just batshit crazy. Unpopular opinion, yes. Don't care.
